Mauritania has strongly condemned the attacks targeting the East-West oil pipeline and a number of vital facilities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming its full solidarity with and support for the Kingdom in the face of these assaults.
This came in a statement issued Saturday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
The following is the text of the statement:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad expresses its strong condemnation of the attacks targeting the East-West oil pipeline and vital facilities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry further expresses the full solidarity of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Mauritania affirms its categorical rejection of all acts targeting civilian and vital facilities and threatening the security, stability, and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It reiterates its support for the Kingdom in confronting the various threats targeting its security and stability.”
