President of Republic Congratulates Swiss Confederation Counterpart on National Day

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent a congratulatory message on Friday to His Excellency Mr. Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The full text of the message reads:

“Excellency,

On the occasion of the celebration of your country’s National Day, it gives me great pleasure to extend to you my warmest congratulations, along with my best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly Swiss people.

I also wish to reaffirm our commitment to working together with Your Excellency to strengthen and further develop the cooperative relations between our two countries, in the best interests of our two friendly peoples.
