Water Minister Returns to Nouakchott

On July 1, Ms. Amal Mint Mouloud, Minister of Water and Sanitation, returned to Nouakchott from Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where she participated in the Saudi Water Week 2026.

The minister took part in the ministerial meeting alongside several of her counterparts, as well as officials and representatives of regional and international organizations involved in the water sector. The meeting was held as part of the second preparatory consultative ministerial meeting for the 11th World Water Forum, which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh in 2027.
