Higher Education Minister Receives Somalian Ambassador

On May 21 in Nouakchott, Mr. Yaghoub Ould Moine, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received Mr. Youssef Ahmed Hassan, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Mauritania.

The meeting reviewed the cooperative relations between the two brotherly countries and explored ways to strengthen and further develop them, particularly in higher education and scientific research.

The two sides also discussed mechanisms for exchanging academic expertise and developing partnerships between Mauritanian and Somali universities and research institutions, in the mutual interest of both countries.
