The President of the Republic receives the credentials of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation

The President of the Republic His Excellency, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received on Thursday, at the presidential palace in Nouakchott, the credentials of His Excellency Aleksei Vladimirovich Malenko, in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
His Excellency the President of the Republic then held talks with the Russian diplomat, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister for Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad.
