President of Republic Holds Phone Call with Jordan King

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held a telephone conversation today, Monday, with his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The call was dedicated to reviewing current regional developments and exchanging views on the situation.

During the call, His Excellency the President affirmed Mauritania’s commitment to the security and stability of Jordan, expressing permanent solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of various challenges. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and self-restraint to avoid further escalation in the region.

For his part, His Majesty the King expressed his appreciation for these sincere fraternal sentiments, highlighting the depth of the relations between the two countries. He reaffirmed their mutual keenness to continue coordination and consultation in a manner that enhances security and stability and serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
