The Minister of Defense, Pensioners’ Affairs, and Children of Martyrs, H.E. Mr. Hanana Ould Sidi, participated in the 62nd edition of the Munich Security Conference (MSC), held in the Federal Republic of Germany from February 13 to 14, 2026. The event saw high-level participation from world leaders, policymakers, and security and political experts from across the globe.
During the conference sessions, participants discussed a wide range of security and political challenges at both regional and international levels, in light of the rapid transformations currently shaping the global stage.
His Excellency the Minister took part in several sessions and discussions focused on the various dimensions of the security landscape in the Sahel region, exploring ways to enhance stability and address transborder threats.
