National Assembly Speaker Receives Indonesian Delegation

On 5 February, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Bemba Meguett, Speaker of the National Assembly, received Mr. Syahrul Aidi Maazat, head of the Indonesian delegation participating in the 55th session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC).

Discussions focused on the excellent relations of friendship and fraternity between Mauritania and Indonesia, particularly in the parliamentary sphere, as well as several issues of common interest.

During the audience, the head of the Indonesian delegation expressed his satisfaction and warmly congratulated the Speaker of the National Assembly on the successful conduct of the 55th session of the UPCI.
