The Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives the Chinese Ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, received today, Thursday, at his office at the ministry, His Excellency Mr. Tang Zhongdong, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China accredited to Mauritania.

The discussions addressed the existing cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance and develop them in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly peoples. The parties also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
