The Presidency of the Republic issues a decree granting amnesty to 183 prisoners

This reduction does not apply to those convicted of crimes related to intentional murder, terrorism, highway robbery, rape, human trafficking and practices of enslavement, incitement to hatred and discrimination, smuggling of migrants, embezzlement and squandering of public funds, counterfeiting currency, or the transfer, import, export, purchase, sale, brokerage, or possession of dangerous drugs.

Prisoners who have previously benefited from sentence reductions in the past three years will also not benefit from this reduction.

This pardon will cover 183 prisoners, ranging from direct release to advancing the release date Presidency of the Republic issues a decree granting amnesty to 183 prisoners

by a full year for the remaining beneficiaries.
