Economic Minister receives delegation from Germany

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdallahi Ould Sidiya, received on Wednesday  in Nouakchott, a delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany, including His Excellency Mr. Florian Reindl, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to our country, and the head of the delegation from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Mr. Christoph Rau, Director for Africa.

Discussions focused on mechanisms to strengthen partnership in economic areas, in line with our country’s development policies aimed at achieving rapid, comprehensive and sustainable growth.

The partnership between the two countries was reviewed, the effectiveness of its mechanisms was assessed, and ways to develop and strengthen it were explored.
