Minister of Economic Affairs Receives UNFPA Resident Representative

On 5 November in Nouakchott, Mr. Abdallahi Ould Souleymane Ould Cheikh Sidiya, Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, met with Ms. Olga Sankara, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Resident Representative to Mauritania.

The meeting focused on cooperation between our country and this UN agency and ways to enhance it in the service of our country’s development.

The two parties also discussed means to develop close cooperation with our country to support population policies, improve reproductive health services, and strengthen the rights of women and young people, thereby contributing to achieving inclusive development.
