President of the Republic Receives a Phone Call from the Tunisian President

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani received a telephone call on Wednesday from his Tunisian counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Kaïs Saïd.
The Presidents reviewed, during their conversation, the historically rooted fraternal relations between the two countries, their two brotherly peoples, in addition to matters of common concern.
The phone call was an opportunity to discuss the general situation of covid-19, its repercussions internationally and the concerns of both countries about its consequences.
The Tunisian President congratulated the Mauritanian people and government for their constant fraternal stance in the face of Tunisia’s efforts to deal with the pandemic.
In turn, the President of the Republic expressed his deep thanks to the Tunisian President for expressing his best feelings, wishing Tunisia as well as the rest of the world to emerge from the current situation caused by this pandemic.
