Tunisia’s Minister of Animal Development discusses Ways to enhance bilateral Cooperation with Tunisia’s Minister of Agriculture

On the sidelines of the One Health Conference for the Middle East and North Africa, held in Tunis on June 14-15, 2025, the Minister of Development, Mr. Mokhtar Gaguih, met on Saturday with Tunisian Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries, Mr. Azzedine Ben Cheikh, on the sidelines of the One Health Conference for the Middle East and North Africa.
The meeting addressed several topics of common interest, and reviewed the successful experiences in the two countries, as well as the challenges faced.
The two sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of animal production and animal health, exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of animal development, and modern technologies to improve animal production.
They also agreed to hold remote working sessions between experts from the two countries to identify areas of cooperation and develop a practical program to implement them.
