President of the Republic congratulates the press family

The President of the Republic H.E., Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, has congratulated the press family on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day.

His Excellency wrote today on the (X) platform:

“On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, we congratulate all members of this noble profession. We reaffirm the continuation of efforts to professionalize and develop it, convinced of the importance of its pioneering role in shaping societal consciousness and awakening public opinion.”
