African Union President meets Congo’s President

HE President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held on Monday evening in Dar es Salaam (United Republic of Tanzania), a private meeting with HE President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso.
The meeting dealt with strengthening the bilateral relations between our country and the Republic of Congo, as well as ways to develop coordination and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, in addition to current regional and international issues.
President Denis Sassou Nguesso praised the efforts of HE the President of the Republic during his presidency of the African Union.
HE the President of the Republic, Chairperson of the African Union, has been in Dar es Salaam (United Republic of Tanzania) since this morning to participate in the African Energy Summit, alongside Heads of State and Government, regional and international banks, international partners, private institutions, energy experts, civil society organizations and academia, to discuss solutions to achieve secure and reliable access to energy and ensure an inclusive and sustainable energy transition.
