H.E. President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived on Monday morning in Dar es Salaam (United Republic of Tanzania) to attend the African Energy Summit.
Heads of State and Government, regional and international banks, international partners, private institutions, energy experts, civil society organizations and academia will join HE the President of the Republic to discuss solutions to achieve secure and reliable energy access and an inclusive and sustainable energy transition in order to accelerate the achievement of the ‘Mission 300’ project to bring 300 million people across Africa to electricity access by 2030.
HE was received at Dar es Salaam International Airport by the Minister of Regional Administration and Local Government of the Tanzanian Government, Dr Festo Dugange.
The President of the Republic is accompanied by an important delegation that includes Messrs:
– Nani Ould Shrougha, Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic.
– Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, Minister of Economy and Finance
– Mohamed Ould Khaled, Minister of Energy and Petroleum
– Khadija M’barek Vall, Mauritania’s ambassador and delegate to the African Union.
– El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Honors.
