Mauritania participates in Meetings Leading to African Union Extraordinary Summit on Agriculture in Kampala

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Mr. Memma Beibetta, headed to Kampala at dawn on Wednesday to attend the preparatory meetings of the African Union Extraordinary Summit on Agriculture, during which the Kampala Declaration on the Comprehensive Programme for African Agricultural Development in the post-Malabo phase will be adopted, which will be one of the most prominent strategic references for agricultural development in Africa.

This summit will begin with the meeting of African ministers of agriculture on January 9, an expanded meeting of foreign ministers and ministers of agriculture on January 10, with the summit of presidents to be held on January 11, 2025.
