The President of the Republic arrives in the City of Chinguetti to Launch the 13th Edition of the Madain Heritage Festival

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived Friday morning in the city of Chinguetti to supervise the opening of the thirteenth edition of the Madayn Heritage Festival.

His Excellency the President of the Republic was received at the entrance to the city by the President of the Regional Council of the wilaya of Adrar, Mohamed Ould Cherif Ould Abdallah, and the Governor of the province of Chinguetti, Mr. Abdoul Amadou Ba.

The mayor of the municipality of Chinguetti Mr. Sid Ahmed Ould Habbat, the deputy of the province of Chinguetti Mr. Aleb Ould Abdel Rahman, and the provincial executives and notables of the province.

The residents of Chinguetti province have extended a warm popular welcome to His Excellency the President of the Republic, with joy at his introduction and appreciation for the important development projects accomplished in the province of Chinguetti in particular and in the state in general.

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, had previously arrived at Atar International Airport, where he was received at the flight by the Governor of Adrar, Mr. Abdallahi Ould Mohamed Mahmoud, the Commander of the Military Academy of Various Arms, the Commander of the Arms, Colonel Mohamed Lamine Sid Ahmed Abdel Mawla, and the Commander of the Third Military Region, Colonel Gandega Samanti.

His Excellency the President of the Republic is accompanied by an important delegation that includes dignitaries, including members of the government and advisers to the Presidency of the Republic.
