Minister Delegate for Budget Receives IMF Mission

On 21 November, in Nouakchott, Mr. Codioro Moussa N’Guenor, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Economy and Finance in Charge of the Budget, received a technical assistance mission in tax administration from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Olivier Sanz, the resident advisor in tax administration at AFRITAC, led the mission, which also included Mickael Roekaert, an expert from the IMF’s Public Finance Department (FAD), and Mocktar Bellamech, an economist from the IMF’s Nouakchott office.

Discussions focused on technical assistance cooperation in tax administration between Mauritania and the IMF and ways of strengthening it.
