President of Republic, African Union Chairperson attends Dinner and Business Meeting Hosted in his Honor by the Head of Libya’s Presidential Council

On Thursday evening, HE President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, attended a dinner and working meeting hosted in his honor, in the Libyan capital Tripoli, by HE the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed El Menfi.
The President of the Republic was warmly welcomed by the President of the Libyan Presidential Council.
They exchanged talks on bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing and developing them, as well as on international and regional issues of common interest, especially with regard to the follow-up of the efforts of the African Union High Level Panel on Libya to accelerate the peace and reconciliation process in this brotherly country.
The dinner was attended by the Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic, Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sidi Ahmed Ould Bouh, HE Ambassador of our country accredited in Tripoli, Mr. Mohamed Ould Babaneh, and HE Permanent Representative of our country to the African Union, Ms. Khadija M’barek Fall.
