The Minister of Islamic Affairs and Indigenous Education Yahya Cheikhna Lemrabott paid a visit Thursday morning to the Higher Institute of Islamic Studies and Research in Nouakchott.
This visit, which aims to review the conditions of the institution and consult with those in charge of its management, comes within the framework of the visits made by the Minister to the departments of his sector in order to see the nature of the tasks entrusted to it.
The minister explained that he was briefed on the aspect related to higher education of the action plan, which he called “my priorities for the Islamic affairs sector” aimed at respecting the historic decision to preserve national sovereignty related to higher education, noting that he informed those in charge of higher education institutions affiliated with his sector of the need to adhere to the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic to the government aimed at working in a team spirit
Commitment to working hours and uniforms, in addition to fighting financial and administrative corruption.
