President of Republic, AU Chairman, Meets With Munich Security Conference Chairman

On 7 October, in Hamburg, Germany, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union (AU), met with HE Ambassador Christoph Heusgen, the Chairman of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

The meeting covered several regional and international issues of common interest.

It is noteworthy that Ambassador Christoph Heusgen was Germany’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2017 to 2021 before being elected President of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) in 2022.
