Minister of Foreign Affairs meets the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Charge of Western Sahara

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, met on Sunday at his residence in New York with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura.

The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the seventy-ninth session of the United Nations General Assembly, dealt with cooperation relations between Mauritania and the United Nations, ways to strengthen them, and issues of common interest.
