Minister of Agriculture receives World Food Programme Representative in Mauritania

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Memma Beibatta met on Tuesday at his office in Nouakchott Mr. Aliou Diong, the representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Nouakchott.
The meeting dealt with strengthening national efforts in the field of resilience of farmers in the face of climate change besides reiterating the ways to strengthen the existing cooperation between Mauritania and this UN programme, especially in the field of agricultural development and food sovereignty.
