Defense Minister returns to Nouakchott from Beijing

The Minister of Defense and Pensioners’ Affairs and Children of Martyrs, Mr. Hanana Ould Sidi, returned on Tuesday to Nouakchott from Beijing after participating, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, in the 11th edition of the Beijing Xiangshan Forum.
At the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, he participated in the 11th edition of the Beijing Xiangshan Forum, which was held in the Chinese capital Beijing from 12 to 14 December.
On the sidelines of his participation in this year’s forum, themed ‘Building Peace for a Shared Future’, the Minister held a meeting with Chinese Minister of Defense General Dong Jun.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the existing military cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop it, and signed a memorandum of understanding in this regard.
