Environment Minister heads to Côte d’Ivoire

The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Ms. Messouda Baham Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, left Nouakchott on Wednesday evening for Côte d’Ivoire.

The Minister will participate in the 10th Extraordinary Session of the African Ministerial Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), the preparatory meeting for the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNCCD, which will take place from 30 August to 6 September in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
