President of the Republic, Chairperson of the African Union heads to Beijing

His Excellency, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott on Monday for Beijing (People’s Republic of China) to participate in the China-Africa Summit, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, His Excellency Xi Jinping.

HE the President of the Republic was bid farewell at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the two Ministers Advisors of the Presidency of the Republic, several members of the Government, the Assistant Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, the Governor of Nouakchott West and the Vice President of the Nouakchott Region.
