The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk, offered condolences on the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi,on Wednesday at the Iranian Embassy in Nouakchott, on behalf of the Mauritanian government and people, Foreign Minister Huussein Amir-Abdullahi and their companions, may God have mercy on them.
In the condolence book, in the presence of the Iranian Ambassador, HE. Mr. Javad Abu Ali Akir, the Minister wrote the following condolences:
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
On behalf of the Mauritanian Government and people, we express our deep sorrow and sincere condolences on the death of HE. President Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hussein Amir-Abdullahi and their accompanying delegation.
We pray to God Almighty to bestow His mercy on them, to inspire patience and solace to their families, and to protect Iran and its brotherly people from all harm.”
The presentation of condolences was attended by Mr. Ahmed Ould El-Nini, Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Massar Sissoko, Ambassador and Director General of the Directorate of Support and Joint Means at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Acting Secretary-General, Mr. Hanchi El Kettab, Ambassador and Director General of Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry, and Mr. Salek Mohamed Moussa Hama, Ambassador Director of Asia and Oceania at the Directorate of Bilateral Cooperation.
