President of Republic Launches Integrated Intervention Program for Moudoun Project for Kiffa

On 11 May, in Kiffa, the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazwani, launched a package of integrated interventions implemented by the project to support decentralization and the development of productive medium-sized towns (Moudoun) in favor of the capital of the wilaya of Asaba.

 The package consists of a structural project for solid waste management, with international technical specifications, including six solid waste trucks, 18 garbage containers, a loader, and 14 tricycles.

 An engineered landfill will be constructed to dispose of waste and a temporary landfill to dispose of solid waste.

The project also includes the construction of an urban road network of 15 kilometers on the main axes of the city, the rehabilitation and development of the “Lamsila” wadi to allow residents to optimize the use of this important area of the city, and the construction of the “People’s Square”.
