Minister of National Defense holds talks with a military delegation from NATO

The minister of National Defense Hanana Ould Sidi held talks Friday morning at his office in Nouakchott with a NATO military delegation led by Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Robert Bauer.

The talks, which took place in the presence of Assistant Chief of the General Staff of the Armies, Major General Mohamed Vall Ould Rais, covered the existing military co-operation between Mauritania and NATO and ways to strengthen them.

The meeting was also attended from the Mauritanian side by Colonel Ahmed Mohamed Hadj Khairy, director of the Directorate of Rehabilitation Assistance and Integration Facilitation at the Ministry of National Defence, and Engineer Othman Bakkar Aswaid Ahmed, head of the military cooperation department at the General Staff of the Armies.
