Mauritania Selected as Arabsat Board of Directors Member

Mauritania was selected as a new member of the board of directors of the Arabsat Organization, during the organization’s 44th general assembly, held Thursday via videoconference.

The Minister of Culture, Handicraft, and Relations with Parliament, Mr. Lemrabott Ould Bennahi, said, during his intervention, that Mauritania is determined to support the efforts aiming to develop Arabsat.

He praised the achievements of this organization despite the numerous constraints imposed by COVID-19 and the ferocious competition in the field of telecommunication.
