National Assembly President Returns to Nouakchott

The President of the National Assembly  Mohamed Bamba Ould Meguet, returned at dawn Wednesday to Nouakchott.

The President of the Assembly participated at the head of a parliamentary delegation in the 18th session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held on 4-5 March 2024 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

On the sidelines of the conference, he held several meetings with his counterparts in brotherly and friendly countries, during which they discussed ways to enhance joint parliamentary cooperation.
