Interior Minister Returns to Nouakchott From Tunisia

Minister of Interior and Decentralization, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine returned Thursday to Nouakchott from Tunisia, after participating in the 41st session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, which took place from February 26th to 28th in Tunis.
The conference was attended by interior ministers of the Arab countries, high-level security delegations, in addition to representatives of the League of Arab States and the International Criminal Police Organization “Interpol”.
The United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and the Arab Police Sports Federation.
Among the main topics on the agenda of the session are the draft eleventh Arab security plan, the draft ninth Arab media plan for security awareness and crime prevention, and the draft eighth interim plan for the Arab road safety strategy.
The session also discussed a number of important topics on the agenda, including the report of the Secretary-General of the Council on the work of the General Secretariat between the fortieth and forty-first sessions of the Council, and the report of the President of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences on the work of the University between the fortieth and forty-first sessions of the Council.
