On 22 January, in Rabat, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, met with Mr. Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, to whom he delivered a verbal message from His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The talks focused on the distinguished relations between Mauritania and the Kingdom of Morocco in various fields and the means of developing them toward broader horizons to realize the interests and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. The talks also touched on all current issues at the Arab, African, and international levels.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Ould Merzoug left Nouakchott yesterday for the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco.
