Third Edition of Mauritania International Camel Racing Championship Concludes

On Sunday 31 December, the third edition of the Mauritanian International Camel Racing Championship, organised by the Mauritanian Federation for Camel Racing, Development and Improvement of Camel Races, concluded in the village of Tefella in the Ouad El Naga province.
The closing ceremony of this event witnessed the division of prizes on the winners of the races and a match in playing ball on the backs of camels, in addition to prizes for the winners of the departure sports competition, which is now held for the first time in this type of sports seasons, and this sport reflects the way of transportation, making authentic Arab food and ways to obtain water.
The ceremony also witnessed the division of honorary shields on officials in the Arab and African federations of camel racing.
