Government Spokesman: Mauritania has made a Great Effort to Adopt the Draft UN Resolution on the Ceasefire in the Gaza Strip
Minister of Petroleum, Mines and Energy and Government Spokesperson Nani Ould Chrougha said that Mauritania has made a great effort to approve the UN General Assembly draft resolution on the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, despite international pressure.
In response to a question on this subject, while commenting on the results of the cabinet meeting, on Wednesday evening at the pronouncement hall of the Mauritanian News Agency, he added that Mauritania remained committed to its position on the need for a ceasefire, and the result was the approval of this decision by a significant percentage.
Regarding a question about the Algiers-Tindouf road, the Minister confirmed that all executive studies for the completion of this road have been carried out during the past three months, and tender studies have been conducted to select the executing companies, and works on this road will begin soon.
