President of Republic Arrives in the City of Aleg to Launch Development Projects in Multiple Fields

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived this Monday evening in the city of Aleg (capital of the wilaya of Brakna), on a working and informational visit, during which he will supervise the launch of a number of development projects.

The President of the Republic was received upon his arrival from the stairs of the plane by the Wali of Brakna, Mr. Mohamed Ould Salek, the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bembe Meguet, the President of the Regional Council of the Brakna region, Mr. Mustafa Mohamed Mahmoud, the Mayor of the Municipality of Aleg, Mr. Youssef Ould Cheikh El Kadi, and the Commander of the Seventh Military Region. Colonel Mohamedou Elarabi Jaafar, representatives of the state’s provinces and mayors of its municipalities.

His Excellency the President of the Republic reviewed units of the armed forces that gave him a salute of honor, before shaking hands with the executives and notables of this Wilaya.

The residents of the Wilaya of Brakna gave a warm popular welcome to His Excellency the President of the Republic, as citizens lined up in queues along the sides of the road taken by the presidential motorcade, carrying enlarged pictures of the President of the Republic and banners appreciating the achievements achieved during the last four years for the benefit of various regions of the country.
