Vice President of the Insaf Party Meets with a Mission team from the Foreign Relations Department of the Communist Party of China

On Thursday 30 November, Vice President of the Insaf Party Mohamed Yahya Ould Horma held a meeting in the meeting room of the party’s headquarters with a high-level delegation from the Department of Foreign Relations of the Communist Party of China (CPC), headed by the Director of the International Exchange Center of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Mrs. Rao Huihua.

Mokhtar Ould Khalifa, head of the Mauritanian-Chinese friendship parliamentary group and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly, told the Mauritanian News Agency that the visit by the Chinese delegation is part of the exchange of experiences between the two ruling parties of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the People’s Republic of China.

Mauritanian-Chinese relations have ancient roots and are based on mutual respect and appreciation, and have been developing from one era to another, he said, stressing that this visit will have a positive and fruitful impact on the two countries politically, socially and economically.

He noted that this visit comes after a visit by a delegation from the Insaf Party to the People’s Republic of China last June.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Insaf Party, a number of its members and figures from the Foreign Relations Department of the Communist Party of China.
