Workshop on Investment Promotion in Agriculture and Agricultural Systems

On Tuesday in Nouakchott, the Ministry of the Economy and Sustainability Development organized a workshop on encouraging investment in agriculture and agricultural systems in cooperation with the United Nations Agriculture Organization and the Youth Employment Agency.

This workshop aims to translate the government’s attention to the problems associated with agriculture and self-sufficiency.

During this workshop, participants will receive presentations on the definition of the new project to accelerate investment in the agricultural field, in addition to the possibility of creating new partnerships, as well as ways to modernize the means of production, support agricultural production and organize producers in a way that allows them to create decent job opportunities while respecting natural resources and valuing cultural heritage.
