Minster of National Education Receives UNHCR Representative

On 30 October, Mr. Moctar Ould Dahi, the Minister of National Education and Educational System Reform, received Ms. Elizabeth Ester, the Resident Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to Mauritania.

The meeting discussed cooperation relations between Mauritania and this international body, especially those related to providing quality education for all refugees in the country.

The meeting also touched on ways to continue cooperation for the education of Malian refugees in the “M’berra” camp in Bassiknou and the process of integrating refugee children into the Mauritanian educational system.
