Minister Secretary of Presidency of Republic Returns to Nouakchott

On 31 October, Mr. Moulay Ould Mohamed Laghdhaf, the Minister Secretary of the Presidency of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from Brazzaville after representing His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, at the Three Basins Summit on Biodiversity and Tropical Forest Ecosystems, which Brazzaville hosted from 26 to 28 October.

This summit, held under the slogan ”Preserving biodiversity and Natural Forests”, aimed to combat climate change and activate the first global coalition to reclaim 350 million important regional and aquatic ecosystems within the framework of the UN Decade on Ecosystems.

The summit discussed various issues, including global governance, integrated investment plans, financial and market mechanisms, and scientific cooperation.
