Foreign Affairs Minister Receives UN Secretary-General Special Representative for West Africa, Sahel

On 23 October, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received HE Mr.  Leonardo Santos Simao, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for West Africa and the Sahel.

The meeting addressed the security and development challenges of the region and the prospects for cooperation between our country and this Organization.
