The President of the Republic H.E. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani kicked off on Thursday 27\/08\/2020 ,theworks of rehabilitation of economic capital Internationnal Stadium .
\nAt the spot the President of the Republic followed explications about the stadium components , phases of realisation and the addition it provides as modern sport infrastrcture.
\nSome explanatory project diagrams were presented to the President of the Republic,and he gave his instructions to the responsible for the project management to respect execution deadlines and qualities norms before unveiling the commemorative plaque of the project.
\nWith this project realisation the city of Nouadhibou will become after Nouakchott the city of the country well equipped in modern sport infrastructure,and will be able to organise big sports events.
\nFor the first time the Nouadhibou Stadium will shelter the african cup under age of 20 ,Mauritania will organize the beginning of 2021.
\nFunded by the sum of 129 471 544 MRU,the rehabilition is done by Military Civil Engineering Corps and specialised sport infrastructure construction companies in coordination with the Mauritanian Football Federation .
\nWith a reception capacity of eleven thousands places,it will be the biggest in the country.The new stadium will include various installations suitable to internationnal standards:

\n-VIP Salon
\n– Press Conference Room
\n-Audiovisual Production Room
\n-New lighting systems
\n-Giant Screen
\n-Toilets
\n-Referees Rooms
\n-Addministrations Locals.
