On 15 September, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, chaired the inaugural session of the Higher Council for Investment in Mauritania (HCIM).
\nDuring this session, the HCIM discussed investment opportunities in our country and the reforms needed to overcome the obstacles to investment.
\nThe Council is expected to contribute to the improvement of investment opportunities in Mauritania by proposing appropriate and stimulating measures to promote national and foreign private investment and improve the economy’s competitiveness. It counts among its members international and national economic actors.
\nIt is noteworthy that the Higher Council of Investment was created by presidential decree on 7 February 2020 as an advisory body placed under the direct authority of His Excellency the President of the Republic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
