Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, took part, Wednesday 09 December via videoconference, in the round table on the Desert Energy Initiative.<\/p>\n<p>By participating in this round table, Mauritania aims to present its package of future energy projects to partners to obtain their support and funding.<br \/>\nAccording a statement released by the ministry, the discussions were devoted to the energy projects in Mauritania and brought together the representatives of the Ministry of Oil, Energy, and Mines, international donors, such as the African Development Bank, the European Union, and the French Development Agency.<\/p>\n<p>An official from the ministry stressed the importance of renewable energy in the institutional electricity plan, presenting the package of electricity projects introduced by our country to its development partners to obtain the funding. These are six projects, three of which are investments destined to electrify the region of the two Hodhs, Assaba, Tagant and include hybridization of 46 stations across the national territory.<\/p>\n<p>As for the remaining three projects, they are related to reforming the sector, building its capacities, and increasing its productivity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of Oil, Energy, and Mines, M.
