Upon her meeting with the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, World Bank\u2019s Vice President for Human Development, Ms. Mamta Murthi, made a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, in which she expressed his happiness to have a fruitful meeting with the president of the republic that was an occasion to discuss issues related to investment in human development.<\/p>\n
She said that Mauritania made great strides in the vaccination campaign that resulted in 40 percent of the target population getting at least one dose.<\/p>\n
She added that she discussed with the president of the republic ways to boost investment in education in the Sahel to provide the appropriate conditions for all children to get access to school, enable girls to continue their education, and give opportunities for adults to study.<\/p>\n
