On 9 October, a mission from the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development examined with Emirati businessmen the possibilities of investing in the production of eco-friendly coal, from commonly local plants known as “Yor”. <\/p>\n
The meeting took place at the Mauritanian stand at the Dubai Expo 2020 exhibition as part of the week of the fair dedicated to climate and biological diversity. <\/p>\n
During this meeting, the Mauritanian mission briefed Emirati investors on the country’s industrial and traditional experience as well as the stages in the production of eco-friendly coal, which is an alternative to that which is unauthorized and dangerous for the environment. <\/p>\n
The Mauritanian side highlighted the ideal geographical position of the port of N’Diago, which will be set up as a development hub and investment attraction area thanks to its exceptional characteristics, especially in ecological terms. <\/p>\n
