His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, departed Nouakchott shortly after midnight on Monday, bound for Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation, to take part \u00a0in the Russia\u2013Africa Summit.<\/p>\n
Upon his departure from Nouakchott International Airport, His Excellency the President of the Republic was seen off \u201cOumtounsy,\u201d by the Prime Minister, Mr. El Moctar Ould Djay; The Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, Ms. Aissata Ba Yahya; The Minister-Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Boye; The Minister-Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ali Ould Sidi Mohamed; The Minister of Defense, Pensioners Affairs and Children of Martyrs , Mr. Ba Ousmane; The Minister of the Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, Mr. Moctar Ahmed Bouceif ; the Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic, Lieutenant General Mohamed El Moctar Cheikh Menni; the Governor of West Nouakchott, Mr. Hamoud Ould M\u2019hamed; and the Vice President of the Nouakchott Region, Mr. Idoumou Ould Abeidellah.<\/p>\n
