The President of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bamba Ould Meguett, received His Excellency Mr. Pietro Mona, the new Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Mauritania, at his office on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
This meeting took place as part of a courtesy visit by the Swiss diplomat, following the presentation of his credentials to His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the President of the National Assembly welcomed the ambassador, wishing him every success in his mission and reaffirming the National Assembly\u2019s commitment to contributing to the strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between Mauritania and Switzerland, particularly through parliamentary diplomacy and dialogue between the institutions of both countries.<\/p>\n
